Eric Nette
Engineer, National Fire Protection Association
Eric Nette is an Engineer with the National Fire Protection Association. He is the staff liaison for NFPA 58, 59, 82, 86, 87, 211, 495, 496, 497, 498, 499, 505, 801, 804, 805, 806, 2112, and 2113. He is responsible for the development of these documents and all associated materials. He has held the position for 2 years. Prior to joining NFPA, Mr. Nette started out as an Engineer at Southwest Research Institute for 2.5 years. There he performed multiple standardized tests, research projects, and several code inspections. Before this he completed a 6 month research project on fire dynamics for the United Technology Research Corporation with Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Mr. Nette graduated from Rowan University with his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and from Worcester Polytechnic Institute with his Master of Science in Fire Protection Engineering. He currently resides in Quincy, MA.
